When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by January 15th, so we can have an accurate headcount.
Are kids welcome? What about plus 1s?
As much as we love your little ones, we are unable to accommodate them at the reception, however they are very welcome at the ceremony.
Unfortunately we don’t have space for additional guests.
Where should I park for the ceremony?
We would definitely recommend public transport or an Uber/taxi to get to the ceremony. However, if you want to drive there are several parking lots relatively close by - The Domain carpark would probably be the closest.
Where should I park for the reception?
We would once again recommend public transport or an Uber/taxi, both for convenience and so you don't need to worry about designated drivers! If you do want to drive, there is limited timed street parking nearby; otherwise, you might find a carpark that is walkable - Broadway Shopping Centre is about 10 minutes walk away. More parking suggestions available here.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Both locations are wheelchair accessible; however, it should be noted that the ceremony is taking place on grass.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors? What happens in case of bad weather?
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, the reception is indoors. We will contact you directly via text message/WhatsApp on the day if there are any changes to the ceremony time/location.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
The ceremony will be held on grass so please keep that in mind when choosing what kind of heels you might wear!
What is the dress code? Is it the same for the ceremony and reception?
The dress code is VINTAGE, GLAM, GLITTER! We’d love everyone to get dressed up in something fun and a bit extra that makes them feel good. Whatever comes to mind when you think Vintage, Glam, Glitter. It could be sparkly, feathery, colourful, glittery, glam, or old-school. No outfit style or era is out of bounds, please just have fun with it! Check out our Pinterest board for some outfit inspo.
The dress code is for the whole day/evening, but we understand if you’d prefer to save your amazing ‘out there’ outfit for the reception.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them with us. We only ask that you please pause photography during the ceremony to enjoy the special moment and allow our amazing professional photographer, Carly, to do her thing. We have set up a OneDrive folder where you can upload any photos you take - we will have a QR code available on the day. We’re okay with social media posts too (but would love a copy of the originals!)
